Original work painted in acrylic and ink on raw linen canvas by artist Catherine Plante in 2026.

This work is called Our Natural Icons No. 23 - Saint-Paon. It depicts a flamboyant blue peacock surrounded by gold and fern silhouettes. I love how the raw material brings out the highly detailed illustrations. I named the works in this series “icons” in reference to religious symbols because forests and rivers are my cathedrals. For me, nature is the purest, most beautiful thing there is.

This work is made on raw linen canvas. A hanging device is installed on the back.

Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
