Original painting - The Lonely Fox

Original work painted in acrylic on canvas by Catherine Plante artist in 2022.

This work is called The Lonely Fox. It is inspired by the gentle winter landscapes and relief observed in the Kamouraska region (in Bas-St-Laurent, Quebec). I wanted to depict a beautiful red fox in this snowy landscape while keeping the atmosphere of my series The Misty Ones. The result inspires gentleness, calm, and contemplation.

This artwork is done on gallery wrapped canvas (1.5" thick) and the edges of the canvas are painted white. It does not require framing and has a hanging system on the back.

Includes certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
