Spring is just around the corner, and I'm delighted to send you my first newsletter! I hope you are doing well and that winter hasn't been too harsh. The very cold temperatures and lack of light have been noticeable, and I must say I'm eagerly awaiting the first buds and the sun. Also, I don't know if I ever told you, but it was also a winter of mourning for me. My dear mother passed away last year after a long battle with cancer, and I miss her very much. It's not always easy, but life goes on, and I choose to move forward in her honor.

A summer like no other!
If you've checked the list of exhibitions I'll be participating in this summer, you've noticed that my summer schedule is lighter than previous years…
That's because I'll be in Havre-St-Pierre for a month this summer for my very first creative residency!
I'm truly lucky that my collaborator Chantal De Serres (and now friend) chose to include me in this wonderful project she had been planning for about three years.
It's a really exciting project for which we can count on the collaboration of the municipality of Havre-St-Pierre (which will provide us with a creative space open to the public) and Parks Canada (which will transport us by boat to the Mingan Archipelago).

Biodiversity at the heart of our municipalities
This year, I also had the pleasure of receiving my first funding from CALQ to carry out a project that is very close to my heart.
Indeed, in 2026 and 2027, I will create a collection of eight artworks showcasing the emblematic biodiversity of the eight municipalities of the MRC d'Acton (my regional county municipality).
In spring and summer 2026, I will organize outdoor creation sessions in the parks of the MRC d'Acton.
Citizens interested in my approach are invited to come and chat with me on this occasion. A schedule of park visits will soon be presented on my website.
The artworks will then be transferred to panels that will be installed in the MRC parks in summer 2027.

This project is a continuation of Beauties and Mysteries of Acton's Wetlands that I completed in 2025.
