About
In my studio, located on the banks of the Black River in Upton, Montérégie (Quebec, Canada), I create inspired by the nature that surrounds me. Each of my encounters with wild flora and fauna gives me the spark of inspiration.
My medium: inks (acrylic, alcohol, and pigment) and acrylic used on Bristol board or canvas, allows me to create realistic and refined works, leaving all the space to the subject. The latter is often represented with a few elements from its natural habitat. This association aims to illustrate the fragile balance that exists in nature. The knowledge acquired during the 13 years I worked and studied in the environment helps me to represent these interactions accurately.
The hope that drives my works is still the same as the one that inhabited me when I worked in the environment: to transmit my love for wild fauna and flora so that my interlocutor feels challenged in its protection.
