The original artwork, "The Waxwings on the Larch," depicts a pair of American waxwings (cedars) perched on tamarack branches, bearing pretty pine cones. This illustration is inspired by a similar scene I saw at Grands-Jardins National Park.
This artwork was hand-painted in acrylic ink, pigment ink, and acrylic on 250g acid-free Bristol paper in 2022. A fixative and UV-protective varnish were applied to the artwork.
Formats: 16 x 12 inches
Sold unframed.
Includes certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
