The original artwork "Floral Sweetness" is inspired by spring in southern Quebec. On my property, a magnificent magnolia blooms every spring just as the American Robins begin to nest. I wanted to depict a pair of these birds (which I adore) courting in a beautiful floral setting.
This artwork was hand-painted in alcohol ink, pigment ink, and acrylic on 300gsm acid-free wove paper in 2021. The paper has been mounted on a gallery-wrapped wood panel (1.5 inches thick) and a hanging device is present on the back of the frame. A fixative and UV-protective varnish have been applied to the artwork, but it is recommended to avoid exposure to humidity or direct sunlight.

Indeed, my art prints are printed on demand at the studio in the format corresponding (as closely as possible) to the original work. These limited editions of 50 copies are printed with pigment inks on 100% cotton paper.
