The original work Calypso bulbeux (Fairy Slipper) was created during my artist residency in Havre-St-Pierre and the Mingan Archipelago.
During this residency, I was able to immerse myself in the environment of several islands in the archipelago. This piece was created in Havre-St-Pierre after seeing this magnificent wild orchid in bloom on Quarry Island. This work was handmade using ink and acrylic on acid-free watercolor paper in 2026. A fixative and an anti-UV varnish have been applied to the artwork.

Indeed, my art prints are printed on demand at the studio in the format corresponding (as closely as possible) to the original work. These limited editions of 50 copies are printed with pigment inks on 100% cotton paper.
