This art print (reproduction) is from the original work titled Hen's Kitchen. This work was created in 2022 in ink, acrylic, and gold leaf on Bristol paper by artist Catherine Plante. I illustrated a small red hen in the middle of an antique kitchen.

This illustration is part of the series: When Animals Crash the Party, which addresses the anthropocentrism of our world. This attitude leaves little room for wild animals whose habitats are destroyed for the benefit of our human development. The works in this series depict wild animals that have invaded our homes as a sign of rebellion because they no longer have a place in nature.

Each reproduction of this limited edition print is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It is printed in the studio with pigment inks on 100% cotton, acid-free, white or natural fine art paper. This 10 x 8-inch print is limited to 50 copies and will not be reprinted.
