Art Print - The Group Trip

This art print (reproduction) is from the original work named The Grouped Journey. This work was created in ink and acrylic on Bristol paper in 2024 by artist Catherine Plante. It represents an ancient popular belief that hummingbirds, due to their small size, were not able to migrate long distances. It was therefore believed that they boarded the backs of geese to make their long journeys. We now know that this is false and that hummingbirds fly very long distances to reach their wintering grounds.

Each reproduction of this limited edition print is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It is printed in the studio with pigment inks on 100% cotton, acid-free, white or natural fine art paper. This 10 x 8-inch print is limited to 50 copies and will not be reprinted.
