The original work Milieu humide de Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton (Wetlands of Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton) was created as part of the project Beautés et mystère des milieux humides d'Acton (Beauty and Mystery of Acton's Wetlands) in 2025. It is my interpretation of the large wetland complex in Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton.
This environment, teeming with life, is a refuge for waterfowl and, more specifically, for white-tailed deer. The deer occupies a central place in this work. The background is divided into two parts: the left side shows the species found in the wooded bogs observed on the site, while the right side contains the flora of the ombrotrophic bogs. The two types of environments come together in a harmonious floral dance representative of the diversity of this wetland complex.
This work was created by hand with inks (acrylic and pigment) and acrylic on acid-free Bristol board in 2025. A fixative and UV-resistant varnish have been applied to the work. The purchase of the original work includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. THE ORIGINAL WORK IS SOLD FRAMED, in a local wood frame (Upton black walnut) made by Atelier 685.
This work is also available as an art print (reproduction). Each reproduction of this limited edition is numbered and signed by hand by the artist. It is printed in the studio with pigment inks on natural art paper, 100% cotton and acid-free. The print run for this 16 x 12 inch format is limited to 50 copies and will not be reprinted. Sold unframed.
