Original work painted in acrylic on canvas by Catherine Plante artist in 2024.

This work is called The Great Bridal Egret. I had always dreamed of depicting this sublime bird in its bridal plumage (the long feathers extending from the back to beyond the tail). The result inspires wonder and contemplation.

This artwork is produced on a gallery-mounted canvas and the edges of the canvas are painted black. A hanging device is installed on the back (sold unframed).
